Swim teams come up short against Crusaders

On Thursday afternoon (12/7) the Ephrata Boys swim team lost 35-134 to Lancaster Catholic, Tyler Eshelman took 1st place in the 500 freestyle. The girls swim team took a tough loss with a score of 80 to 90. The Lady Mounts 200 Medley relay swam a District time of 1:58.08. The relay consisted of Noelle Brossman, Lia Denlinger, Shannon Ream, and Nicole Martin. Freshman Nicole Martin had Ephrata's only 1st place finish in an individual event in the 50 free. However the Lady Mounts collected many 2nd places with great times…Lia Denlinger in the 200 Free, Kayla Raptosh in the 200 IM, Shannon Ream in the 100 fly, C. Reading in the 100 free, Noelle Brossman in the 100 back, and Heather Ashton in the 100 Breaststroke. The swim teams next home meet is Wednesday, 12/13 against Penn Manor.
