Lady Mounts Split Weekend Tourney

The Ephrata Mounts Field Hockey team travelled on Saturday for a tournament in Susquehanna Township. In the first game the Lady Mounts drew Central Dauphin and despite outshooting the opposition 13-4, the Mounts could not find wood and lost a tough game 1-0.In the second game against Susquehanna Township the Mounts continued with relentless pressure, this time with a 14-2 shot advantage. Kelly Martin scored her first goal on the season off of a pass from Ely Rosati. Later Rosati added a score of her own on a pass from Hannah Hess which proved to be the goal winner as the Mounts prevailed 2-1. With the win the Mounts evened their season record at 2-2.
The Lady Mounts play again on Tuesday (9/12) when the travel to Lebanon. The game time is scheduled for 4:15.
